Papyrus

Papyrus is an early form of paper made from the pith of the papyrus plant, Cyperus papyrus. This is a plant growing in wetlands to a maximum height of 15ft (around 5 meters), and was once abundant in the Nile Delta of Egypt. Papyrus is first known to have been used in ancient Egypt (at least as far back as the First dynasty), but it was also widely used throughout the Mediterranean region, as well as inland parts of Europe and south-west Asia.

We sell Egyptian Hand painted Papyrus. Please note that there is a big difference in quality between the hand painted and the one printed at the print shop. The Hand painted colors are more vibrant and live. We have different sizes that you can choose from according to your need.
